“He’s been doing the show’s for 22 seasons, it’ll be 23 when he’s finished, and you can’t accomplish something always,” Legend said.
“We will miss him; however, he has been the heart and the anchor and the spirit of the show for quite a while, and he’s a companion of mine, and I truly appreciate working with him,” he added. “All of us will miss him.”
As indicated by Legend, he and Shelton won’t spend the national singer’s last season together, as he made sense to ET that he anticipates taking season 23 off the following year.
